More activity on the Paris airport hotel front has come with Marriott International announcing a new addition to its Courtyard by Marriott brand with the takeover of the former Radisson Blu CDG hotel.
The property has undergone an extensive 15-month multi-million pound refurbishment to relaunch as the Courtyard by Marriott Paris Roissy CDG Airport Hotel, making it the brand’s seventh presence in France.
Marriott International Europe vice-president premium and select brands John Licence said: “The prime airport location offers business and leisure travellers alike a fresh, contemporary space in which to rest and re-energise before their onward journeys.”
Set between the airport and the city centre, the 240-bedroom hotel boasts the latest Courtyard by Marriott design. The lobby has also been redesigned into a flexible space to foster social connections with guests.
This comes with Courtyard by Marriott’s GoBoard concept offering touchscreen technology allowing users to view the latest airport information and research popular tourist attractions. The hotel also offers free wi-fi.
Additional features include 1,000sq m of event space with 12 flexible meeting rooms, a 70sq m fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment, and free airport shuttle service.
The hotel is the first of two additions for the brand in Paris this year, with Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon expected to open in late 2018.
