Priority JFK restaurant deal

Independent airport lounge membership programme Priority Pass, part of the UK-based Collinson Group, has signed an exclusive partnership deal with Bobby Van’s Steakhouse at New York’s JFK International airport.

It is the first restaurant to be added to the Priority Pass programme at JFK, as well as the first option for members flying from Terminal 8 and enables Priority Pass holders to use a lounge visit to obtain a US$28 (about £20) discount on meals.

Collinson Group executive vice-president and general manager lifestyle benefits Sheryl Pflaum said: “We’re constantly looking at ways to enhance further the experiences of our members airside through premium lounge access and exciting partnerships.

“We are planning to continue to add the best restaurants and expand the areas where our members can relax, grab a bite to eat, or fire off last minute emails.”

Bobby Van’s Steakhouse is noted for dry-aged steaks, a well-stocked bar and elegant décor.

Other restaurant additions to the Priority Pass membership programme have included the Grain Store Café & Bar at Gatwick, Botejyu at Osaka Kansai International and seven restaurants and bars at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.
