Lundgren joins festival line-up

In one of his first international conference appearances as easyJet CEO, Johan Lundgren is joining the line-up of senior industry figures due to speak at the 2018 Aviation Festival at the Business Design Centre in London from 5-7 September.

Topics up for discussion include how easyJet is going global through the easyJet Worldwide programme; understanding how LCCs are using innovative solutions to expand their reach into all segments, and how far will consolidation in the European market go in the next five years.

The show is expected to attract representatives from more than 120 airlines from around the world with 3,000 attendees and more than 200 speakers covering full-service, low-cost and hybrid carriers as well as global airports.

Among subjects under review will be digital transformation, ancillary sales, merchandising, personalisation, connectivity, IFE, revenue management, loyalty, social media, mobile technology and the impact of data and the Cloud.

Organisers say more than 90 sponsors are already confirmed including companies such as IBM, Navitaire, Farelogix, Panasonic, Datalex, Comtrade, OpenJaw, Boxever, Made By Many, Cartrawler, Sabre and Salesforce. Some 85% of the floorplan is sold.
