Fearless Flyer by easyJet is back

EasyJet will very shortly begin a series of courses across the UK for people to overcome their phobias of flying.

Starting next weekend and running through until April, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer programme course takes place at Belfast, Bristol, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted.

During the ground course section, phobia expert Lawrence Leyton teaches attendees proven mind techniques to control their nerves and he is joined by a senior easyJet pilot who will explain the sounds and sensations experienced onboard a flight. Attendees can then put their new skills and knowledge into practise on a one hour flight featuring full in-flight commentary.

Over 6,000 people have attended the course since it launched in 2012. More than 95% of those people have overcome their phobias, and now have the freedom to fly across the world.

Sian Smith, 2017 course attendee, said: “Before the course, I hadn’t flown for ten years because of debilitating anxiety on every flight. I would be sick at the airport, hyper-ventilate, panic, and it would ruin my holiday. I was a bit sceptical about the course, as I was worried it wouldn’t work for me, but it was amazing!

EasyJet's Fearless Flyer course is priced at £199 including a half-day of homilies and an actual flight. Companions can join the aerial part for £80.

This is absolutely great but why is Luton not included? Is this not Easy's main hub? Thank you
