Customers with British Airways travelling from Innsbruck, Ibiza and Seville can now benefit from access to new lounges. The use of these partner lounges, operated by a third party, are exclusively for the airline’s customers travelling in Club Europe or are eligible cardholders. It is part of a BA multi-million pound investment to offer access to more lounges across the globe.
Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ director of brand and customer experience, said “We understand that using a lounge is an important part of the journey for our premium customers, so we are delighted to be able to offer this experience in more airports across the world.
In recent years we have opened new lounges in Boston and Gatwick South Terminal and revamped spaces in Edinburgh, Cape Town, Amsterdam, Belfast, Washington, Singapore and Dubai with more in the pipeline.”
British Airways is currently refreshing its lounges in New York’s JFK Terminal 7. Later this year new lounges in Aberdeen and Rome will open. Further investment is then planned in Chicago, San Francisco and Johannesburg plus Heathrow.
The airline will also be investing in a number of partner lounges where there is currently no facility, in order to improve the customer experience.
