Singapore Airlines and A380

London has been confirmed as Singapore Airlines brings into service the newest Airbus A380 aircraft, featuring the airline’s recently unveiled new cabin products.

Starting 16 February, the aircraft will operate as SQ322 (Singapore – London) on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.  From 17 February to 5 April, it will operate as SQ305 (London – Singapore). With effect from 7 April, the new aircraft are scheduled to operate as SQ317 (London – Singapore) on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  The Hong Kong route has also been chosen for the aircraft.

SIA’s new cabin products were publicly unveiled early in November and debuted on 18 December 2017 to Sydney following the delivery of the latest A380s from Airbus.

The new cabin product is fitted to five new A380s and will be retrofitted on the 14 aircraft that are already in service.

The new cabin products seat up to 471 customers in four classes, with six in Suites, 78 in Business Class, 44 in Premium Economy Class and 343 in Economy Class.  Previously the aircraft operated with a maximum of 441 seats, but with the latest delivery First and Business Class have been made smaller with consequently a rise of Economy capacity.
