Flybe new year’s ‘Close to you'
Flybe, claimed to be Europe’s largest regional airline, is starting the New Year with a brand refresh to better reflect the extent of its local presence. 
With 53% of UK domestic flights, an impressive figure, Flybe is introducing a new strap line ‘Close to You’, across its whole network.
Roy Kinnear, Flybe’s chief commercial officer explains: “Flybe specialises in bringing people together and, in this day and age, it is more important than ever for companies to establish a real personal connection with their customers. This is why we feel ‘Close to You’ is the perfect message to marry our commitment to quality customer service with our extensive route network.
Flybe currently flies 210 routes serving 15 countries from 81 departure points in the UK and Europe and is the largest scheduled airline by air traffic movements at Aberdeen, Belfast City, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Isle of Man, Jersey, Newquay and Southampton airports. Flybe operates a fleet of 81 aircraft – 56 Bombardier Q400, nine Embraer E195, 11 E175 and five ATR 72.
The airline continues to be marked down on the London Stock Exchange currently priced at 30.67p and a market capitalisation of under £70m.
