First Andaz for SE Asia

Hyatt Hotels has extended the reach of one of its leading brands with the opening of Andaz Singapore, the first property in the division to open in South East Asia and the 17th example worldwide.

Focused on gateway cities and top resort destinations, the brand specialises in creating inspiring, indigenous experiences that immerse guests in the local culture of each unique destination. 

The Andaz Singapore is at the heart of the city’s cultural crossroads where Kampong Glam, Little India and the Bras Basah Bugis arts and entertainment hub meet and is a short 20min drive from Changi Airport and a 5min drive from the central business district.

General manager Olivier Lenoir said: “We are pleased to have been able to bring the inspirational and creative Andaz brand to South East Asia. By bringing in the local spirit of our surrounding neighbourhoods and offering fresh perspectives, we aim to inspire a sense of discovery.”

The hotel has 342 contemporary guestrooms, including 26 suites with floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of the city. As with all Andaz hotels, guests have access to a free minibar, free wi-fi and all-day free refreshments in the Sunroom.
