A new four-times-weekly service between Hong Kong and Nanning in Guangxi beginning 8 January has been announced by Cathay Dragon, further strengthening the airline’s network in mainland China.
Cathay Dragon: Growing in mainland China
The new service will be operated by the airline's fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration.
Cathay Dragon said the launch would connect passengers from around the world to a culturally diverse city while offering passengers from southern China more options via its extensive regional network and Cathay Pacific’s international network though Hong Kong.
Cathay Dragon CEO Algernon Yau said: “We are pleased to add Nanning to our growing mainland China network. The city is becoming an increasingly important business destination and we are excited to provide our passengers with a wider choice of travel options and convenience.
“The launch of the new route also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to boosting Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s largest international aviation hub.”
