LuggageHero for London

A new start-up has launched in London giving customers an easy, safe and affordable way to store bags while you explore. LuggageHero uses the principals of the sharing economy to make storing bags while travelling as simple and easy as possible.  It is already well established in Copenhagen.

For the customer, LuggageHero offers a low-cost alternative to traditional storage lockers, costing just €1 an hour (€2 start-up fee, with a max €10 per day), with security tags and insurance ensuring your luggage is safe. Customers can book for a set number of hours, but will only pay for the hours they use, allowing them to pick up their luggage anytime. LuggageHero is already available in major areas including Victoria station, Kings Cross St Pancras and Waterloo and is constantly expanding.

The service allows users retailers, bars, restaurants and hotels to make additional revenue by signing up to become a ‘LuggageHero’.

LuggageHero also solves an awkward issue for Airbnb hosts, who are often asked about luggage storage by their guests, by offering a simple way for this to be booked and paid for as an additional service. Due to this compelling proposition the start-up has secured a partnership with London – and Europe’s – largest Airbnb management service, Hostmaker.
