US Norwegian introduction

Gatwick has seen two major route introductions to the United States by Norwegian.  Yesterday (15 September) it was Denver and today Seattle.  Fares start at £179 each way.

Operating the services will be Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with two cabins – Economy and Premium. Passengers can choose from the Economy cabin with complimentary seatback inflight entertainment or a Premium cabin, more than 40in of legroom, a full meal service, generous baggage allowance and pre lounge lounge access.

Passengers can explore vibrant Denver, before heading for adventure in the national parks of Colorado – perfect for experiencing the great outdoors. A twice-weekly service will operate on Tuesday and Saturday during the summer and will increase to three-weekly in the winter with a Thursday.

Seattle is one of America’s fastest growing cities which sits at the foot of snow capped volcanoes, verdant forests and sensational seascapes, Seattle is where outdoor adventure meets urban lifestyle. Four weekly flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Denver and Seattle are Norwegian’s eighth and ninth US routes launched from Gatwick in the past three years. By next March, Norwegian will be the second largest long-haul airline at Gatwick with 13 routes following the launch of Singapore in September, Buenos Aires in February and Chicago and Austin in March 2018.
