Finnair highlights Japan

Special promotions to highlight the convenience of flying from the UK to Japan via Helsinki have been launched by Finnair. The company claims to serve more Japanese cities than any other European carrier.

General manager UK Andrew Fish said Finnair departures from Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh allowed easy access to key business centres such as Tokyo Narita, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka, giving passengers more choice.

Finnair customers travelling on select services to Tokyo and Osaka are treated to a “unique Nordic experience” on board the Finnair Airbus A350 with award-winning cabin design by Helsinki specialist company dSign Vertti Kivi & Co.

The aircraft also features large panoramic view windows and comfortable seating in all classes, along with wi-fi access and touch-screen inflight entertainment systems.

Business Class passengers can look forward to a fully flat bed, priority check-in, boarding and security, access to Business Class lounges, a luxury amenity kit and exclusive Business Class meals, wines and snacks on demand.

Fish added: “Finnair customers enjoy fast and convenient connections to Japan via our home and hub at Helsinki Airport. By flying the short northern route via Helsinki, the airline makes long-haul journeys easier than ever.”
