New Heathrow arrivals lounge

Arriving passengers at Heathrow Terminal 3 have a new lounge to welcome them with the opening by the Plaza Premium Group of its latest facility as part of continued expansion at the airport.

The group, which has lounges in Heathrow Terminals 2 and 4 departures and arrivals areas, says the decision to open a new one landside followed extensive research and monitoring of the terminal, which welcomes guests from 100-plus long-haul flights daily.

The lounge can seat 28 and features 11 shower rooms, a wide range of food and beverage, a selection of international newspapers and magazines, satellite television channels, unlimited high-speed wi-fi and a pressing service.

Plaza general manager UK and Europe Pauline Cheung said: “Our arrivals lounges are designed to offer passengers comfort, convenience and we are proud to be continuing our expansion plans at the largest and busiest airport in Europe.

“We have received excellent feedback on the arrivals lounges in Terminals 2 and 4 and we are sure the Terminal 3 facility will be met with equally high praise. Having arrivals lounges benefits passengers and those waiting in the terminal, which enables us to enhance the travel experience for all.”
