Two new restaurants have opened in the North Node of Doha’s Hamad International Airport, joining a selection of more than 30 eateries offering passengers cuisine from all corners of the globe.
First of the new arrivals is Burger Federation, which says it serves a familiar dish that have been “reinvented as contemporary gourmet cuisine” in response to growing demand for quality meat dishes at the airport.
The second opening is Spizzico, a quick-service, contemporary bread and pizza bakery with a wide assortment of gourmet pizzas, freshly baked paninis, pastries and salads.
The developments have been overseen by Qatar Duty Free (QDF), in partnership with HMSHost International, which specialises in providing dining experiences for travel venues.
HMSHost CEO Walter Seib said: “After the opening of Doha’s first Harvest Market restaurant in HIA in January, we are thrilled to announce the opening of two more restaurants to appeal to hungry travellers.
“The strategic partnership with one of the fastest-growing airports in the Gulf helps us in delivering our mission and conveying our promise to keep travellers ‘Feeling Good’ while they are on the move.”
