Viceroy Palm for Dubai

Opening next Friday (31 March), Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Dubai is promising to bring a touch of the "playful Viceroy Los Angeles vibe" to the region and will mark the brand’s second property in the UAE.

The 477-room beachfront resort is at the base of the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah, overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Marina Skyline with a design and architecture inspired by ancient Roman amphitheatres.

 The glass-clad structure is designed to create a sense of space and light, allowing views of the pool and sea to filter through, with a striking one-of-a-kind 15m x 15m glass cube taking centre stage in the lobby.

Other features include a 60m statement swimming pool running through the heart of the hotel, flanked with palm trees, shaded sunbeds and a sleek bar, complete with sunken bar seating and tables.

All 477 rooms have balconies, interactive 42in LCD televisions, refreshment centres with cocktail making facilities and coffee machines.

For meetings and events, there is the 600sqm Vista Ballroom on the 14th floor with views across the Arabian Gulf and space for up to 350 guests, plus three fully-equipped meeting rooms, with a combined capacity of 245sqm.
