Flybe connects at Heathrow

Heathrow Airport's “Flight Connection” webpage has now added Flybe's new Scottish routes. A very simple site to use, it will be particularly helpful for passengers when flying down from Aberdeen and Edinburgh who wish to join a service out of either T3 or T4. It works the other way too, and connects all pairs of flights whatever the airline.

Flybe’s new route to Heathrow is a real bonus for Scottish travellers and has already seen British Airways reducing its fares in the face of what will be strong competition. The flights complement Flybe’s well-established London City services from the two Scottish airports.

From 26 March, international flyers to and from Aberdeen and Edinburgh via Heathrow will no longer have to trudge from the airport’s Terminal 5 to the Central Area if their onward carrier is other than BA. The new services goes into Terminal 2, the home of the Star Alliance airline grouping, even if the next flight is Terminal 3 on Virgin Atlantic (or its Delta Airline partner).

It is a very simple process to follow the Flight Connection signs and take a very short bus ride. At T3, Upper Class passengers can also take advantage of the splendid Virgin Clubhouse.
