East Midlands at St Pancras

The railway company that operates services between St Pancras International and Nottingham/Sheffield has opened a new ticket office at its London terminal.

East Midlands Trains, part of the Stagecoach Group, has sited its new offering in the area known as the market place by the Pancras Road entrance.

Jake Kelly, managing director of East Midlands Trains, who opened the new ticketing facilities, said: “This revamp demonstrates just how committed we are to continually investing in improved technology and the experience our customers receive.

“St Pancras International is an iconic, world-famous station and so it is fitting that our customers can now access a ticket office that is modern, open-plan and as accessible as possible.

“We will continue to invest in ticketing facilities and recognise just how much our customers value both face-to-face interaction and being given the option to use new technology to book tickets or find information.”

Based in Derby, the company provides train services in the East Midlands and parts of Yorkshire, chiefly in Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire. St Pancras International has been voted the nation’s favourite station each year since it reopened in 2007.
