IAG chief executive Willie Walsh, his counterpart at Flybe Saad Hammad and Ryanair chief commercial officer David O’Brien head the latest speaker line-up for the the Airport Operators Association (AOA) annual conference on 21-22 November at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, London.
Issues on the agenda include airport growth and capacity, the impact of Brexit, aviation tax, sustainability, security, and passenger experience, with delegates drawn from senior representatives of UK aviation and travel plus government officials and regulators.
Others on the speakers’ rostrum include the chief executives of Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast and Brussels airports and of the Manchester Airports Group, plus CAA head Andrew Haines.
The conference will be moderated by ITN news anchor and television presenter Natasha Kaplinsky.
AOA chief executive Darren Caplan said: “With so much going on, there has never been a better time to hold this conference with so many senior players across UK and European aviation.
“The imminent airport capacity decisions, the challenges and opportunities around Brexit, the recently-signed ICAO global carbon deal and the latest on Air Passenger Duty – all this and more will be discussed at the AOA conference at a time when the discussion really matters.”
