This car was not on offer to drive at the SMMT southern test day last week which will be featured in the 10 October issue. 

Seen at Oakley Hall for the test day, parked, was this rare Aston Martin DBS 6.0 V12 Volante, 510 BHP.  About 230 right hand drive versions were produced between 2009 and 2012, priced at just over £200,000.  The car is mostly carbon fibre on an aluminium chassis and is very quick for a convertible model.  Reckon 0-60 in around four seconds and 190 mph in theory at any rate.
