The Park Plaza Nuremberg has officially opened in an ideal location, very close to the 19th century Central Railway Station with its services to the airport, and just a few metres from an interesting walk into the old walled town.
Each of the 177 rooms is inspired by Albrecht Dürer, the famed Nuremberg-born painter, mathematician and theorist. In his lifetime, 1471-1528, he would never have imaged 48” flat screen TV’s in every room, nor free high-speed wi-fi.
The hotel offers seven meeting rooms, with the largest space accommodating up to 70 delegates. It also has a specialist steak restaurant, a 24hr fitness centre and a Bavarian American bar. Guests can choose a Superior Room overlooking the internal atrium or outward looking Executive accommodation and suites.
The Bavarian city is known as a business hub, and hosts international trade fairs, including Spielwarenmesse (Toy Fair), FachPack (Packaging Materials) and Consumenta (Lifestyle), all of which are held at the nearby NürnbergMesse exhibition centre.
