Las Vegas first for delegates

An industry first is being claimed by the Conference Center of Las Vegas after it opened a facility offering on-site overnight accommodation available exclusively to clients for up to 200 attendees.

The venue is Las Vegas’ only free-standing conference and special-occasion centre and will be available for site visits during this year’s IMEX America gathering being held from 18-20 October at Sands Expo.

Encompassing 20,000sq ft of flexible meeting, seminar, training and wedding space, as well as the 48 on-site guestrooms, the Conference Center is 5min from McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip.

Features include a 5,000sq ft front foyer with 29ft ceilings and a 10,000sq ft ballroom plus six conference rooms with capacities of 22-61 for lecture-style seating and 28-79 for theatre-style seating, as well as one multipurpose room with a capacity of up to 72 lecture-style or 96 theatre-style.

On-site services include two customisable LED screens, state-of-the-art audio/visual, wireless and production facilities, 2,500sq ft kitchen with customisable food and drink service, and a business centre.

Of the 48 overnight rooms, 46 have two queen beds, bathroom, desk and sitting area. There is also a four-bedroom suite with three bathrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen.
