New LAX lounge for Etihad

Etihad Airways has officially opened its new First and Business Class Lounge in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (LAX) at Los Angeles International Airport to serve passengers on its daily B777 services from the US West Coast.

It is the airline’s third dedicated facility of its kind in the Americas after the Premium Lounges in Washington DC and New York’s JFK.

The space features luxury seating, an à la carte dining area, showcase bar, TV area, shower facilities, free high-speed wi-fi and multi-zone electrical and USB power outlets.

There is also a selection of international magazines and daily newspapers and a separate VIP area can be made available as required.

The 407sq m airside facility overlooks the renovated terminal’s exclusive shopping promenade and available for eligible Etihad First Class and Business Class guests.

Etihad began daily non-stop service between Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi International Airport on 1 July 2014.

In addition, the airline offers daily services between Abu Dhabi and Chicago, San Francisco and Washington, DC as well as twice-daily services to New York JFK and three-times-weekly services to Dallas/Fort Worth.
