Top speakers for AOA
Brussels Airport CEO Arnaud Feist and IAG head Willie Walsh are among high-profile speakers scheduled to appear at this year’s Airport Operators Association (AOA) annual conference, dinner and awards ceremony.
Bookings are now open for the event at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, London, on 21 and 22 November.
Other confirmed speakers include David O'Brien (Ryanair), Saad Hammad (Flybe), Stewart Wingate (Gatwick), Charlie Cornish (Manchester Airports Group), and Andrew Haines (CAA).
From politics come Louise Ellman MP (Labour, Transport Select Committee chair), Drew Hendry MP (SNP, Transport Group leader in Westminster) and Graham Brady MP (Conservative, 1922 Committee chair). A minister from the DfT will also be confirmed shortly.
The gathering was named Conference of the Year 2015 at the latest Trade Association Forum awards and is the only event in the UK aviation calendar bringing together all the main industry players under one roof.
The conference will be moderated by ITN news presenter Natasha Kaplinsky, while Simon Calder, broadcaster and senior travel editor for The Independent, will host the AOA dinner and awards ceremony.
