Heathrow T5 Aspire lounge

While the vast majority of travellers using Heathrow T5 are on British Airways flights, few are booked Club Europe. BA’s Business Class is often company policy for long-haul but not for domestic, Irish or continental flights. Many BA regulars are not eligible for one of the three Galleries offerings.

Now fully up and running is the Aspire lounge, the first independent facility in T5 since it opened in 2008, ideal for regular European travellers in 'Y' who can either use their Swissport or Priority Pass plastic or pay to use the offering. Prices start from £29.99.

The lounge is located at gate A18. It is a quiet, tranquil space where there is an endless stream of well-cooked sustenance varying according to the time of day. Fast wi-fi is provided as a courtesy.

Guests can enjoy a special opportunity to sample a selection of international wines on a complimentary basis or comprehensive spirit and beer list including Speyside single-malt whisky.

A highlight of the lounge is the ‘Bliss Spa at Aspire’, which is the award-winning beauty company’s first location at an airport.

Visitors need to ensure they keep an eye on the departures board, as the attentive staff do not announce flight information.
