Daylight US flights for ANA

ANA said last week its new services between Haneda – New York and Haneda – Chicago announced in May and starting on 30 October will be daytime flights with departures between 10:00 and 11:00 and arrival times at about 21:00.

The airline said the timetable was designed to make the most effective use of Haneda's convenient location near the heart of the Tokyo metropolitan area, while enabling passengers to spend more time in the US. Flights will be by three-cabin B777-ER.

In another development, ANA flights connecting Haneda and Honolulu, which use the B787-8, will continue to depart from Haneda at night, but will now arrive at Haneda about five hours earlier, between 17:00 and 18:00, which the airline says will further enhance passenger convenience.

From 30 October, ANA will also begin operating new flights between Haneda and Kuala Lumpur, again with the B787-8. The service will operate overnight, to contrast with the airline’s existing daytime service between Narita and Kuala Lumpur, to give passengers more choices for access to the Malaysian capital from Japan.

ANA says it will continue to expand its international network as part of its commitment to strengthen Japan's international competitiveness as a destination.
