Conrad Hotels & Resorts has marked the opening of its first hotel in Saudi Arabia – the 438-room Conrad Makkah, in the heart of the Holy City and overlooking the Sacred Mosque, Al Masjid al Haram, and the Holy Kaabah
It marks the addition of the second Hilton Worldwide brand into the city and 11th hotel in the kingdom.
There are another 28 Hilton Worldwide properties in development in the region..
Conrad Makkah has 438 rooms, including 62 suites in two towers. The suites – ranging from 56sq m to 247sq m – have separate living areas, dining areas with kitchens, access to a private butler service, and direct views of the Sacred Mosque and the Holy Kaabah.
Other features include 12 lifts that go directly to the mosque for quick access during peak prayer times.
The hotel has two meeting spaces for up to 100 guests as well as a business centre and executive lounge.
