Genting Hotel Resorts World

The impressive new Genting Hotel at Resorts World National Exhibition Centre Birmingham is now fully open. It is within a self-contained shopping and leisure resort comprising of 18 bars and restaurants, 50 retail outlets, an 11-screen IMAX cinema, conference centre and casino. Adjacent is the Genting Arena, established as one of the UK’s leading concert venues.

The hotel boasts 170 standard rooms and eight deluxe suites together with a stunning spa facility comprising a 15m pool, sauna, salt cave, hot tub terrace, heated loungers and a small but well-equipped gym for residents only.

The contemporary bedrooms include smart technology controlling the rooms’ lighting and air conditioning. The suites can be linked, and are in a private top floor area which can be completely shut off and also has an exclusive and large executive lounge.

NEC attracts more than three million visitors a year and adjoins Birmingham International Rail Station, itself linked by a courtesy monorail to the airport. There are 10 trains per hour to Birmingham Grand Central Station for £4.80 return – which, at 15min each way, must be Britain’s best value train ride. The rebuilt station incorporates a recently-opened John Lewis store and adjoins the reconstructed Bullring shopping complex.  See also AND FINALLY
