Two more for Marriott portfolio

Marriott International is celebrating two major new openings this month: the Marriott Bonn World Conference Hotel on the banks of the Rhine in Germany, and the Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun in South Korea.

The 17-storey Bonn property has 336 rooms including 30 suites and two presidential suites and is one of the largest hotels in Germany.

Boasting a roof-top restaurant, fitness centre, spa and indoor pool, the hotel also offers 662sq m of conference and banquet space including three private dining areas on the top floor for private events and meetings.

In Seoul, the new 409-room Courtyard property boasts a contemporary lobby area with free wi-fi and media pods for conducting business as well as five multi-functional meeting rooms on the third floor which can accommodate up to 150 people for any occasion.

The Namdaemun Suite on the 19th floor has an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy views of Seoul city and is designed for private functions and gatherings.  

An executive lounge on the 22nd floor offers guests free breakfast, evening canapés, use of meeting rooms and snacks throughout the day.
