Russia expansion for Hilton

Hilton Worldwide has opened its fifth hotel in Russia with the launch of the DoubleTree by Hilton Tyumen, the first by the group in the region.

Double Tree is one of 15 Hilton brands.

The property is in the central part of the city, near Tyumen's many historical buildings, and is positioned for business travellers and those attending events as well as leisure guests.

Gas and oil corporations such as Gazprom, Transneft-Siberia, Lukoil, Rosneft, Schlumberger and business centres are all within walking distance and Roshchino International Airport is about a 20min drive.

The hotel has 195 guestrooms including 23 suites and an executive floor with a private lounge for guests wanting to work without interruption. Rooms feature 40in LED TVs and wi-fi and other facilities include a spa and the only indoor swimming pool in a Tyumen hotel.

For events, the DoubleTree has one of the largest pillar-less ballrooms in the city, with capacity for up to 220 people, and there are six meeting rooms in a separate business wing for conferences.

Hilton Worldwide has 18 properties open in Russia, with a further 32 in the pipeline. The Doubletree brand’s presence in the country has doubled since 2014.    http://doubletree3.hilton.com/en/index.html
