LHR take-off for Plaza lounges

The Plaza Premium group is forging ahead with its lounge expansion at Heathrow, the latest facility in T4 Arrivals scheduled for soft opening in the fourth quarter of this year.

By then, the company will have Plaza Premium Lounges in both Arrivals and Departures in both T2 and T4. A T5 lounge is in the planning stages and when completed will give the hospitality brand a presence in all LHR terminals.

Access to the lounges is normally open to all travellers regardless of their choice of airline or class of travel and costs about £25 per person for an hour.

The lounges have showers, food, soft and alcoholic drinks, plus free wi-fi, international newspapers, magazines, televisions and full flight information.

Plaza Premium Group’s airport transit hotel business Aerotel in Heathrow is scheduled for soft opening in the first quarter of 2017.

Founder and CEO Song Hoi-see said: “We are delighted to be making London Heathrow our home in Europe and be a part of the airport’s growth. Our goal is to make every journey better for travellers whether at the beginning or the end of their trips.”

Plaza Premium Group operates in 35 international airports and has more than 130 locations worldwide. www.plaza-network.com
