Stansted MD’s trains call

Rail operations on the Cambridge to Stansted train link have doubled from last week.  For most of the day there are two services per hour.  All also call at Audley End.

It is part of the direct award franchise agreement between Abellio Greater Anglia and the Department for Transport to enhance the existing timetable operated by CrossCountry.

Andrew Harrison, Managing Director of Stansted Airport, said: "Cambridge is a world leading centre for innovation and bio-medical research, and a new half hourly service to the airport will make Stansted more accessible to the city, opening up over 160 international destinations in just a short journey time of 30 minutes.
