Aer Lingus Sky Deli

A new Sky Deli pre-order meal service has been launched by Aer Lingus.  This follows feedback from customers indicating they would like to place meal orders in advance of travel.

The idea is for passengers to take a look at the menu and pre-order up to 90 days in advance while making their booking or by adding it to an existing reservation via the 'Manage Booking' facility on the website.

The tasty meal options available include an All Day Irish Breakfast and two fresh salads, Chicken Noodle or Seared Beef, each for £6.20 (€7.50).

The Irish breakfast includes two pork sausages, grilled bacon, tomato, black and white pudding and a hash brown, served with brown bread and fresh orange juice.  The Seared Beef Salad offers pepper-seared fillet of beef served with German potato salad, artichoke, lettuce and tomato accompanied by horseradish sauce.  The Chicken Noodle Salad consists of marinated chicken and green pesto infused noodles on a bed of lettuce with pineapple, tomato and toasted sesame seeds with ponzu dressing.  All the meals come with a choice of tea or coffee.

If you have not ordered, the aircraft carry a supply of deli meals but this way you are guaranteed that what you enjoy is available. www.aerlingus.com
