EasyJet and Northern Ireland

Flights will launch from George Best City Airport to Glasgow from 31 October with departures on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout winter until 24 March 2023.

The new route marks further expansion of easyJet services from Belfast City after last year saw the introduction of new routes to Gatwick, Bristol and Liverpool, which the carrier says have "proven popular" with leisure and business travellers.

Ali Gayward, Country Manager, easyJet UK, said: "We are delighted to be launching another new service from Belfast City which will offer our customers more choice when travelling between Belfast and Glasgow.

"This new route further strengthens our network in Belfast, having recently added services to Gatwick, Liverpool and Bristol from Belfast City. We are proud to be the largest airline in Belfast and Northern Ireland and remain committed to offering customers great value fares and more choice when they fly with us".

EasyJet is a long-time resident of Belfast International Airport with services to destinations including Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Bristol, Dubrovnik, Edinburgh, Faro, Fuerteventura, Geneva, Glasgow, Ibiza, Isle of Man, Jersey, Krakow, Lanzarote, Liverpool, London (Gatwick, Luton, Stansted), Lyon, Malaga, Manchester, Newcastle, Nice, Palma (Majorca), Paris (CDG) and Salzburg.
