Blenheim - Wonderful cars plus stay news

Darwin Escapes is set to offer a new way to experience Blenheim Palace, one of the UK’s most historic country estates, after partnering with the estate to launch a new range of luxury staycation lodges.

Construction on Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat has just begun this summer, with the collection of one, two and three-bedroom lodges set to be completed and open for Easter 2023.

The news comes just as the home of the 12th Duke of Marlborough gets itself ready for the annual Salon Privat, Wednesday 31 August – Sunday 4 September.  Amongst the super cars expected to be present is the UK debut of the all-new, all-electric Dues Automobiles Vayanne hypercar following its display during Monterey Car Week and Pebble Beach this month.

Named as the most powerful pure electric hypercar in the world, the Deus Vayanne has been designed, developed and tested in conjunction with revered technical partners Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering; with both companies supporting the Vayanne during the event.

Just as glamorous in its own ways is the brand new Bentley Mulliner Batur – the next exceptionally exclusive, handcrafted and infinitely customisable grand tourer coach-built by Mulliner but still a petrol driven v12– The Batur celebrates Bentley’s iconic W12 engine, with an iteration producing more power and torque than ever before.

This new Bentley design DNA will shape the future range of Bentley Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), with the first to be launched in 2025.

Also very British is the Aston Martin spectacular DBR22 a V12-engined two-seater coach-built design concept, celebrating the marque’s extraordinary bloodline of open-cockpit sports racers.
