Cruz and O'Leary at WTM

World Travel Market (WTM) opens at ExCeL London today (1 November) at 10:00.

From an air travel point of view one of the hightlights is likely to be two interviews by regular BTN columnist John Strickland, a pre-recorded chat with Michael O’Leary, and a live talk with Alex Cruz, the former British Airways Chairman and Chief Executive.

On the WTM Global Stage at 12:40 John asks the question “What is it like to manage an airline in such extreme conditions? Can we expect changes in the future shape of the industry?”

Offering his great knowledge of the industry The Independent's Simon Calder, also of the BBC, starts the day off at 10:30 with the WTM Industry Report 2021.
