Luton Airport (LTN)

Now with the terminal essentially completed from a major refurbishment London Luton’s check-in area looks like a ghost town.

The Mid and Long Stay car parks are closed, and customers are asked to use Terminal Car Parks 1 & 2 where a free one hour pick-up drop off service is operating.  The vast majority of shops and food and drink outlets are also shut.  A small number of shops selling essential items remain open but with reduced trading hours.

The 888 bus service between the airport terminal and Luton Parkway station is currently running a every 10 minute service

With easyJet closed down Wizz is running a much-depleted service with two flights daily to Budapest and 16 weekly to Sofia.

As with other airports London Luton Airport continues to follow all of the advice and guidance from Public Health England (PHE). This includes enhanced monitoring procedures for flights arriving from affected countries and displaying the latest public health information across the terminal.  It has also implemented an enhanced cleaning regime and installed 50 hand sanitiser dispensers, which can be found at the entrance to every toilet block. Measures are in place to ensure social distancing is maintained in areas where queues may form.

Luton is Britain’s’ busiest executive jet airport and is open 24 hours, but with movements substantially reduced.  Harrods Aviation is closed.
