Hilton Garden Inn adds 10

Ten new properties including firsts for the brand in France and Zambia have been announced by Hilton’s upmarket division Hilton Garden Inn, continuing the company’s rapid growth into popular markets.

HGI global head John Greenleaf said: “With these 10 new properties, we are building on our commitment to anticipate and cater to the evolving needs of today’s modern traveller.

“Each new property exemplifies our focus on providing ‘simple things on another level’, such as bright interior designs, region-specific hotel prototypes and on-trend food and beverage choices, reflective of the local area.”

The brand’s inaugural hotel in France, Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre, is a modern facility along the River Garonne in Bordeaux, convenient for the main rail station and city centre, and boasts all the usual HGI facilities.

In Zambia, the brand’s first property is the Hilton Garden Inn Lusaka Society Business Park. The property occupies an iconic 20-storey high-rise a short walk from multiple corporate offices, restaurants, shops and offices.

Other new arrivals include Hilton Garden Inn Munich City West in Germany and seven properties in the US including McCormick place, Chicago; Boise Downtown, Idaho; and Corning Downtown in New York State.
