Lounge with a difference

Car manufacturer Lexus is extending its influence beyond the automotive world into global luxury lifestyle with the opening at Brussels Airport last week of a 700sq m premium lounge with seating for 175 guests.

Called simply The Lounge by Lexus, the facility is aimed at pampering users with a wealth of special facilities to make their visit comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable, together with opportunities to immerse themselves in the company’s world.

The lounge is divided into areas with different ambiences and features, including a central bar, seating zones and a break-out space for those who need to work while on the move.

Head of Lexus Europe Pascal Ruch said the partnership with Brussels Airlines’ business lounge The Loft provided a “unique and exciting opportunity” to bring the Lexus brand values to a global audience.

He added: “We are reaching beyond the automotive world with a special place where people can enjoy and get to know Lexus without getting behind the wheel of one of its cars.”

Ruch said the lounge offered everything an air traveller would expect and more, including original contemporary designs throughout, quality furnishings, carefully designed food and drinks menus and facilities for work and revitalisation.
