AND FINALLY: Twinjet twins

Twin brothers born within 30min of one another who went on to become British Airways pilots celebrated their 60th birthdays and retired on Saturday after landing their final flights 30sec apart.

Jeremy and Nick Hart, both A320 captains on BA short-haul routes, decided a fitting end to their flying careers would be to operate their last flights into Heathrow on the same day, parking up their aircraft next to each other.

Nick's flight from Gothenburg landed at 12:34; brother Jeremy taxied in from Geneva at 12:35. Jeremy chose the run to Geneva as it was also his first destination as a pilot.

Jeremy joined BA in 1987, Nick from British Midland, which was bought by and then absorbed into BA in 2012.

Between them, they clocked up almost 45,000 flying hours, spent 3.5 years in the air and have flown more than 2m passengers.
