Heathrow set for more lounges

New luxury lounges are on the way to Heathrow thanks to an expansion by Plaza Premium Group. A new facility is due to be opened landside in Terminal 4 this month and another in T3 later in the year.

The arrivals lounge in T4 will have a capacity of 75 people and features a relaxation and bar area, a multi-function room for meetings before flying and 25 luxury shower rooms. Details for the T3 lounge are still under wraps.

Company founder and CEO Song Hoi-see said: “The concept of our arrivals lounge was driven by a desire to do something for the majority. Such facilities benefit not only travellers both before and after their flights but also family and friends waiting for someone to arrive.

“Our arrivals lounges bring convenience, comfort and value to passengers looking to combat travel ailments, awaken their senses and revitalise after long flights. Our goal is to make every journey enjoyable, not only on departure, but also upon arrival.”

Plaza Premium Lounges already operate airside in T2 and T4 and landside in T2 and are open to all passengers. Priority Pass and Dragon Pass are accepted as well as independent travellers who can pay on entry with no prior booking needed.
