Xi’an debut for Garden Inn

Making its debut in Xi’an, Hilton Worldwide’s upmarket hotel brand Hilton Garden Inn has opened a 276-room property in the city’s Hi-Tech Zone. It is the parent group’s second base there, after Hilton Xi’an.

Owned by Yango Group Co. and managed by Hilton Worldwide, the Hilton Garden Inn Xi’An/Hi-Tech Zone adds to the brand’s portfolio of more than 675 hotels worldwide.

Hilton Garden Inn head John Greenleaf said the brand had witnessed “very positive growth” in China since arriving there in 2014.

“We look forward to providing both business and leisure guests with a welcoming and dependable hotel experience and doing whatever it takes to ensure every guest is satisfied,” he added.

Regional senior vice-president for operations Bruce McKenzie said the opening in the Xi’An Hi-Tech Zone strengthened the brand’s presence in the important business area of north-west China’s new Western Triangle economic area.

“China remains a key market for Hilton Worldwide and with a robust pipeline of more than 200 hotels, we are continuing to grow our presence across key destinations,” he added.
