Tap into yoga

Sitting is the new smoking claims the World Health Organisation, stating that  physical inactivity is the fourth biggest killer on the planet, ahead of obesity.

It costs the UK economy more than £1bn every year in sick days due to back, neck and muscle problems and that figure is rising.  In the workplace the fear has given rise to the popularity of stand-up desk stations and an increasing number of easily accessible leisure innovations such as this new offering from Yoogaia.

Yoogaia is a new online interactive yoga/pilates/barre studio designed for business travellers to keep up with important exercise routines, wherever they are in the world.    All you need is a pc/tablet/smartphone and an internet connection.

Virtual classes for beginners through to the advanced are given by world class instructors and can be followed  from the smallest of hotel rooms.  Classes available include Yoga in multiple forms, Pilates, Express Abs, Kettle Bell and Barre to soothe weary travellers’ minds and muscles.  Yoogaia studios run in Helsinki, London and Hong Kong so whatever time zone you are in you can tap in to a class to suit.  Dedicated ‘Broga’ classes for men commence in April.  Subscriptions £15 for one month.   www.yoogaia.com
