Fortnum & Mason T5

The iconic British retailer Fortnum & Mason has opened its first airport store and bar at Heathrow T5 just in time for Christmas.

It represents an important milestone for a brand that has been synonymous with world travel since 1707.  From its earliest days Fortnum’s has supplied intrepid explorers in the furthest corners of the world with hampers full of home comforts.  Now the retailer is in a position to connect with today’s modern global traveller at the world’s busiest port.

Fortnum & Mason at Heathrow Terminal 5 offers exceptional goods and impeccable service.  It carries a selection of products from the flagship Piccadilly store, designed with the traveller in mind.  There are Fortnum’s iconic hampers, as well as a range of its most popular teas and preserves (including jams, marmalades and honeys) and confectionery items.  There is also a savoury counter offering a selection of chilled products, including smoked salmon and caviar.

Famous for their range of fine teas, Fortnum’s has created a new blend exclusively for the Terminal 5 store.  ‘Explorer’s Blend’ is a bold combination of contrasting flavours from the four corners of the tea world; Ceylon (Nuwara Eliya), Kenya, China (Green Jasmine) and India (Assam).   www.fortnumandmason.com
