AND FINALLY: Armchair Economy

Qantas has been innovative for the last 80 years.  It is the world’s second oldest airline.

But how to unveil its new Economy Class meal package?

The media tend to turn their noses up when it comes to the back end of aircraft.

Easy.

Invite the press to your London training centre.  Set up some long tables.  Gather together 40 very comfortable armchairs.  Bring in your top cabin crew.  Add Australian wine.

And then do a proper safety brief explaining where the exit doors are, noting that life jackets are not required.

With that out of the way Qantas showed how they are redefining international Economy Class with some really excellent nourishment.

Award winning to be sure.
