More growth for Priority Pass

Membership airport-lounge operator Priority Pass (PP) last week announced that members now have access to the new and eagerly-awaited Plaza Premium Lounge at Brisbane International Airport in Australia.

It is one of nine new facilities to be added to the company’s global network this summer, including outlets in Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. PP’s portfolio now covers more than 900 lounges in 400 cities across 120 countries.

In Saudi Arabia, the list includes both the Wellcome Lounge in Terminal 2 and the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 at Riyadh King Khalid International Airport, while in Asia, Busan Gimhae International Airport in South Korea joins the fold with the Sky Hub Lounge in the International Terminal.

The BlueSky Executive Lounge in International Terminal 1C at Indonesia’s Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta is also new, along with the VIP Lounge Bajio at Mexico’s Leon/Guanajuato Del Bajio International Airport.

A Priority Pass spokesman said: “Regardless of the airlines passengers fly with, or the ticket they hold, membership in our programme means a warm welcome awaits almost everywhere. It turns the airport experience from an endurance into an indulgence, with complimentary food, drink and much more.”
