Sheraton Grand for Park Lane

One of London’s showpiece hotels, the Park Lane, which dates from 1927, is being redesignated by Sheraton Hotels and Resorts as the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, marking the completion of a multi-million-pound renovation.

The 303-room hotel has been a Sheraton property since 1996 but did not begin using the Sheraton name until this month. It now joins 32 other Sheraton Grand properties worldwide.

The renovation has seen the addition of 43 Sheraton Club rooms and suites, which offer exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, where guests can enjoy free breakfast plus drinks and snacks during the day, a taster of the Palm Court afternoon tea, a full bar and evening canapés.

For business travellers, the Club Rooms and suites also include free use of a private meeting room within the Sheraton Club Lounge, which can seat up to eight people.

In addition to the Club rooms, the hotel’s 21 suites have been reconfigured to maximise space, while the Grand Suite includes an entrance lobby, master bedroom and bathroom, and living and dining areas.

The hotel relaunches officially in October with rates from £249 for a classic room.
